At April 24th, 2006 in Herzogenaurach, Germany there was held a Comenius Meeting with educators and educational decision makers.

Herzogenaurach, a city located in the south of Germany was the conference venue. The network coordinator of EcoMedia-Europe Dir. Eile opened the session with a general introduction of the Socrates Comenius action. After this opening session a discussion about the Comenius action started. The conclusion of the discussion was that schools of the whole region are not involved in any Comenius action. Schools and other institutions are interested to develop projects and therefore Dir. Eile explained about the opportunity of Comenius Contact Seminars and preparatory meetings to develop new contacts and projects. After some helpful advices the session continued with a presentation of network activities by Dir. Eile Herbert. This Comenius meeting was very important for schools and decision makers of the region because a lot of new initiatives and future projects are planned to realise within the Socrates Comenius action.
